Remember when phone makers were trying to make "phablet" happen? Big screens are beautiful, but not everyone wants a pocket-busting phone. At its Monday media event, Apple said customers bought a whopping 30 million 4-inch phones last year. So enter the iPhone SE, which is the size of the 5S but has guts more like the 6’s. Apple also released a smaller iPad Pro and updates to El Capitan, TVOS, and iOS. Good news for the sleep-deprived: The iOS update adds Night Shift, which automatically dims your screen in the evening (blue screen light, like daylight, can make our brains suppress sleep-inducing melatonin).
